Safe, reliable power transmission in low-voltage and medium-voltage power
networks needs sophisticated solutions that can not only withstand the
harshest conditions but can also meet growing financial demands.
Development and manufacture accordingly demand a great deal of experience
and highly specialized know- how. We have packed all the knowledge we

The program includes bolt and compression type terminals,
connectors, and cable-lugs. Assembly tools like, for example,
manual and hydraulic compression tools round off the

Components and systems for low-voltage
distribution
Our LV distribution boards are located at the junctions of the
public electricity supply system. We distribute, protect and
switch in the most widely different configurations, in
accessible and non-accessible transformer and local network
substations. All our systems comply with the applicable
European regulations and IEC recommendations. They are
designed with a metal-encapsulated and touch- safe
construction. Each one is thoroughly tested individually, and
only then is it supplied, preassembled and prewired, ready to
connect up on site. Our range comprises components and
modules, right up to complete units for transformer substations
and distribution switchboards. And the most important thing:
Because our programme has a modular structure, we can adapt
to almost all installation conditions.

almost all your requirements with regard to tapping, jointing and
connecting.

High-current connectors for industry
Our OEM program is made up of innovative connection systems
such as PLUG and tailor-made connection components like, for
example, flexible connections, special versions of plug-in
contacts, connecting bolts and plug-in contacts, busbar packs,
busbar systems, expansion clamps and bi- metal clamps.

Safety equipment
Today, PFISTERER safety equipment is regarded as standard in
many countries around the world. For example, the KP-Test
series of voltage testers and the single-pole phase comparator.
Our earthing and shortcircuiting devices for short-circuit
currents up to 33 kA are available in many different versions
and lengths.
